The Great Debate: Does (RING) Size Matter?

Shall we talk about wedding rings?

If you’re tying the knot, it’s a BIG DEAL.

It’s more than just a piece of jewelry—it's a symbol of your vows and love for one another.
But.. does size really matter? Well… it depends!

Here are some things you should consider when buying a wedding ring:

Your budget. The size of the wedding ring impacts your overall wedding budget. Definitely consider how much money you want to spend on it before you start looking. You should also seek out a jeweler that can help you get the best quality at a price that works within your budget, or as I like to say… get the biggest bang for your buck!
Your lifestyle. It’s important to consider how your ring will fit into your lifestyle. If you’re an active person and work mostly with your hands, you'll want to look for a sturdy band with a smooth finish that won't catch on anything or get scratched easily. Elastic and rubber wedding rings are another option to consider—they're durable, adjustable and inexpensive.
Style and Quality. Wedding rings are intended to be worn daily, which means you better like the way it looks! Look for something that will suit your style and stand the test of time.
Finally: consider comfort! Make sure that any style you choose feels good against your skin and isn't too tight or loose so it won’t fall off easily.

On the other hand… Do you NEED to wear a wedding ring? This is a tradition that goes back hundreds of years, but is this still something you want to do? If not, feel free to go ring-free! A lot of couples choose to go sans rings, and I love that, too! (Listen to more wedding traditions that have withstood the test of time HERE).

Ultimately, size matters (sort of) - but it's not necessarily the only thing that matters. The true measurement of a ring's value is the commitment that it represents. At the end of the day, there's no one-size-fits-all answer here, so go with what makes you both happy. Let’s chat, what’s your ring personality?
