Dress Change
BRIDES! This question is for you.
When you were looking for a wedding dress, did you fall in love with more than one? Did you feel like one dress didn't fully capture your style or wedding day vibe? If that's the case, I highly recommend doing a dress change!
A lot of brides are choosing to wear a long, classic wedding dress for their ceremony, and then will change at some point through the reception. This second dress is often a shorter dress, or less fitted dress, to make it easier for dancing (and eating)! If couples add traditional elements to their wedding day (like a Chinese tea ceremony), brides will also often change into a Chinese dress, as well.
What about the guys?
A rising amount of grooms, groomsmen and dads (love the dads!!) are also choosing to change into something a little more comfortable during the reception. Jackets off, aloha shirts on... sometimes opting for shorts and slippers! At a recent wedding that we did, the groom and all the groomsmen changed into matching aloha shirts so while they were not in their suits anymore, they still matched. Adorable!
Your wedding day can be a long day, from getting ready in the morning, through the ceremony, all the way until dancing at the end of the night. Changing your outfit to get more comfortable, or to change the vibe of your wedding is a great idea! How many dress changes will you be having at your wedding? We'd love to know!
